what a manifest for deep house no bonds to minimal, no rave anthem, no disco revival. just tidy tunes, where the soul is always immanent. in this respect, a track such as we never grow up is a subtle misunderstandingn, because subsky, he is already. all three tunes use elements of dubknowledge. the delays and synths are more expansive than usual. especially æspacey sense is craving for open-airs and sunsets. support from osunlade, scope, dj yellow, spiritchaser, tim white, sammy rock, henri kohn, santorini, dean serafini & more!

stanley anscorm has finished the follow-up to battle beyond the sun. you can expect two epic tracks on this nearly 30 minutes record. although the tracks are based on identical compositional material, they shine in very different color. the black side is of high density and impresses with remarkable bass figures which seems to grow on the fundamental principles of low frequencies. these figures are easily carrying loads of percussions and even an orchestral set of horns which does not seem to be from this world. the white side can be understand as a lighter interpretation of the same topic and it is thrill of its own to discover the intersections between the two tracks. sure, this music is nothing you listen to in an elevator - stanleys art demands attention, there is no doubt about this - but the reward you get if you listen or dance to it with an open heart is of a kind you might never come in contact with somewhere else.

selected advent deal. - this debut release on new imprint numbercult is sure to make waves, pulling no punches with this weighty production. the series hits off with a anonymous artist (which most likely is not making his debut here, judging on the production skills). the a side kicks off landlines, 11 minutes of driving deepness, an overdriven stabbing subbass and solid percussion give the track monstrous bottom end with the hypnotic lead line almost vanishing in the vastness. this could be descriped as a kind of mid 90s techno... the rawer side of basic channel or fcom. an absolute sexy monster track that keeps pushing forward and remains its funky almost dubby drive. strong! from the b side clonic is a driving mills esque x 103 ish assault, layering discordant acid lines to produce an intense and relentless track, broken only once with soaring beautiful strings. a side is essential! the b side only for the headstrong. a great start for this new label from glasgow releasing limited releases of high calibre deep techno from a dynamic collective of producers. a label grounded on the basics of techno with an open mind to the future. and what a great start. check!!!
